Continuing Education Student

Learning for life. The Universities of Wisconsin welcome learners at every stage of life. Whether you want to advance your career, enhance your skills, explore a new interest, or return to the classroom for personal growth, our continuing education opportunities are here to help you take the next step. With flexible schedules, affordable options, and programs designed for working adults and lifelong learners, it’s never too late to start—or to start again.

Education That Meets You Where You Are

Choose from affordable, high-quality in-person and online workshops, trainings, and courses designed for working adults and professionals to upskill, reskill, and gain new skills. Our summer camps and workshops allow youth and teens hands-on opportunities to grow their talent and prepare for college. Our “Over 60” program welcomes Wisconsin residents who are 60 or older to audit classes for free.

Making Your Credits Count

If you hope to transfer continuing education credit to another UW university, connect with both the university where you plan to take the course and the university where you want the credit to apply. The Transferology tool is a helpful way to see how credits may transfer.
